Inspired by a previous puppet project, I wanted to explore the use of old technologies to create an intimate shadow puppet experience. I inherited an overhead projector from a dear friend who passed away and thought I'd spend some time experimenting. With a background in animaiton, puppetry feels immediate and precious - if you make a mistake, there is no "control+z"

The story itself is about an age-old scenario where someone goes on an adventure in another land and ultimately gives up everything they know and love for the new place.
